Ex1. What percent is 20 of 30?
Ans: ^{20}/_{30} × 100 = 66.67%
Ex2. What percent is 30 more than 20?
Ans : ^{10}/_{20} × 100 = 50%
Ex3. What percent is 20 less than 30?
Ans : ^{10}/_{30} × 100 = 33.33%
NOTE: % INCREASE = ^{INCREASE VALUE }/ _{ORIGINAL VALUE} × 100
% DECREASE = ^{DECREASE VALUE }/ _{ORIGINAL VALUE} × 100
% CHANGE means Percentage increase or Percentage decrease

Number of men who play football = 15
Football players above 50 years = 20 * ^{10}/_{100} = 2
