3% means 3 per 100, 25% means 25 per 100. 100% means all.
or, 3% = 3/100, 25%=25/100
Let's calculate 10% of 90
i.e. (10/100 ) * 90 = 9
NOTE-1
100% of a number x = x
50% of a number x = x/2
Ex : 100% of 2400 = 2400
50% of 2400 = 1200
10% of 2400 = 240
1% of 2400 = 24
